Clarence M. Snyder, Miami, Fla., former Anamosa resident, died Sunday, Dec. 24, at the Veteran's hospital, Coral Gables, Fla.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 26, with burial in Miami.

He was born May 15, 1890, son of Harvy M. and Alice Mitchell Snyder, Anamosa. He grew to manhood in Anamosa and was engaged in the painting and decorating business. He later moved to Chicago, Ill., where he continued in the same line of business.

He moved to Miami, Fla., three years ago. He was a veteran of the First World war.

Survivors include his wife, Stacia; one sister, Mrs. A. W. Strawman, Anamosa, and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
