OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral service for Mrs. John Zaruba, 76, a former resident of Oxford Junction, who died at Rock Island March 25, was held Saturday morning from the Sacred Heart church with the Rev. Joseph Gregor conducting the service.

Burial service was in charge of the Z.C.B.J. lodge Boudouenost, Oxford Junction, in Mayflower cemetery.

Casket bearers were John O'Hara, Vit Lasack, George Williams, Joe Shimanek, Frank Kolarik and Frank Shimanek.

Mrs. Zaruba was born in Boheima, the daughter of John and Katherine Cimer, and came to America when a small child. She made her home here after her marriage to John Zaruba for 30 years, living later at Cedar Rapids and Rock Island, Ill.

Mr. Zaruba proceeded her in death a number of years ago. She is survived by five children, Miss Pauline, Mrs. Loyce Forman and Frank Zaruba, Rock Island; Louis Zaruba, Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Joe Hodoval, Savanna, Ill., four grandchildren and two sisters, Miss Katherine Cimer, Rock Island and Mrs. John Wherry, Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Zaruba was the aunt of Joe and John Kropik, Miss Maeme Pasha and Mrs. Frank C. Henak, Oxford Junction.
