Mr. Fred C. Bramer, 87, died March 8 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

He was born near Wyoming on September 21, 1892, the son of Christ and Ida Burmahl Bramer. He was married to Ava Streeper on June 2, 1915 at Onslow. They lived in the Onslow and Wyoming area nearly all their lives until moving to Cedar Rapids in 1979.

Fred Bramer was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Onslow serving as an elder for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Ava of Cedar Rapids, one daughter, Lila Snyder of Cedar Rapids, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one sister and six brothers.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 1980 at the First Presbyterian Church in Onslow with burial in the Wyoming Cemetery. Mr. Dan Johnson, pastor officiated. Organist was Mrs. Tom Paulsen and soloist was Harry Hicks, Jr.

Pallbearers were Willis Bramer, Lyle Bramer, Raymond Bramer, Cal Reiss, Tom Gutzeit and Darryl Wherry.
