OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 19, at 1 p.m., at the Assembly of God church, Oxford Junction for Mrs. Chauncy Robinson, 88, who died Wednesday evening, Aug. 16, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Kalous, Cedar Rapids, where she had gone recently because of failing health. Her home was in Oxford Mills.

Body was brought to the Hayden Funeral home. Rev. Ramon Booth officiated at the funeral service. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery. Hymns were sung by Miss Marjorie Leslie and Lyle Jeffrey, Clinton. Mr. Jeffrey was pianist.

Serving as pallbearers were Chauncy Hodgden, Henry Leslie, Bert Jeffrey, Allen Leslie, Robert Jeffrey and Roland Leslie.

Mrs. Robinson was born Saphronia Prosses, in Oxford township, Sept. 19, 1872, daughter of Theodore and Sarah Chase Prosses. She had lived almost her entire life in the Oxford Junction community. She was united in marriage to Chauncy Robinson, who preceded her in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Kalous, Cedar Rapids; a son, Miles, Davenport; a sister, Mrs. Jetty Lathrop, Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Her parents, husband and a sister, Mrs. Addie Skinner, preceded her in death.
