MECHANICSVILLE--Horace H. Brutzman, 90, died Saturday, March 23, at Mechanicsville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 26, at 2 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral home, Lisbon. Burial was in the Lisbon cemetery.

He was born Sept. 22, 1872, in Stroudsburg, Pa. June 24, 1893, he was married to Sadie Gower. Couple came to Jones county in 1899 where they made their home for the remainder of their lives.

Couple celebrated their 53rd anniversary before the death of Mrs. Brutzman 13 years ago. He had lived in Jones county 64 years. He was a member of the Christian church, Martelle.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Estella Thompson and Miss Ethel Brutzman; 5 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary, who died in infancy.

Out-of-town relatives present for the services included three nieces and their husbands, Louise, Mrs. Phares Shive, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Harz and Mrs. Carrie Gower, all of Lansdale, Pa.
