MORLEY--Funeral service was held Thursday, Oct. 30, for Mrs. Cyrus Lamb who died at her home near here Tuesday morning after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Lamb, the former Caroline Pfeiffer, was born in Rome township Jan. 30, 1853, and lived her entire life in this community. On Oct. 1, 1890, she was united in marriage with Cyrus Lamb at Olin.

Extremely active in church activities, Mrs. Lamb was a member of the United Brethren church, Morley, and a member and past president of the Ladies Aid group. Her husband, one sister, Mrs. Henry Smith, Morley, and several nieces and nephews survive.

Service was in the United Brethren church, Morley, with Rev. C. L. Windsor officiating, and Rev. W. T. Boston, Olin, assisting. Pallbearers were Otis Siever, Harlan Russell, Glenn Brokaw, Clarence Tenley, Arthur Free and Cliff Miller.

Burial was at Green Hill cemetery. Smykil's Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
