Final rites for Mrs. Melburn Grimm, 27, and her infant daughter were held from Smykil Funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. J. K. Delahooke in charge. Burial was in the family lot at Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Grimm, former Anamosan who had been living in Savanna, Ill., died Saturday at University hospital at Iowa City following the still birth of her daughter.

Casketbearers at the funeral included Loren Schnieder, Robert Schnieder, John Gesie, William Thompson, John Kavanaugh and Harold McDaniel.

Mrs. Grimm, the former Marguerite Adel Leggett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leggett, Anamosa, was born on June 10, 1914, near Center Junction. She grew to womanhood in Jones county and on July 19, 1930, she was united in marriage to Melburn Grimm, Monticello.

She is survived by her parents and husband; three children, Leo Earl, Mildred Jean and LeRoy Melburn; three brothers, Wilbur, Saint Louis, Mo., Merle, Anamosa, and Elmer, Peoria, Ill. A sister and brother preceded her in death in 1937 and 1938.
