OXFORD JUNCTION--Mrs. Vern Cram, 76, Oxford Junction, died Wednesday, March 6, at a home in Tipton, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at the Hayden Funeral home, Oxford Junction. Services were in charge of a Christian Science Reader, William Vaughn, Cedar Rapids. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.
Pallbearers included six nephews, Fred and Ray Mizaur, Oxford Junction; George Owen, Wisconsin; Lester Mowry, Lowden; Robert Cram, Moline; and Raymond Nowachek, Baldwin.
She was born Mildred Pegorek, Oct. 31, 1886, daughter of John and Mary Sacora Pegorek, Oxford Junction. She had lived her entire life in the Oxford Junction area. She was married to Vern Cram on Oct. 10, 1911.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Carmel, Mrs. Lester Meyer, Olin; two sisters, Gertie, Mrs. George Owen, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Lee Kostichek, San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
