OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral service for Mrs. August Kroulik, 73, Oxford Mills, was held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hayden chapel.

Rev. Walter A. Wolgemuth, pastor of the Lutheran church, had charge of the service and music was furnished by the Lutheran choir. Pallbearers were Robert Barber, H. Meade, Dan Meade, Chauncy Robinson, Fred McClure and Austin Conwell. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Kroulik died last Friday afternoon at the Mercy hospital at Anamosa following an illness with pneumonia. Body was returned to Oxford Junction to the Hayden mortuary.

Ella May Carrington was born near Baldwin Aug. 3, 1878. In October, 1888, she was married to Alonzo Cubbage at Tipton, where they lived for a time, later coming to Oxford Mills where Mr. Cubbage died some time ago. She was married on May 3, 1937, to August Kroulik who survives with two sons, James Cubbage, Hale, and Dacel Cubbage, Oxford Junction. One daughter, Mrs. Leona Nichols, preceded her in death.

She is also survived by four brothers and three sisters, John Carrington, Oxford Mills, Sam and Joe, Oxford Junction, and Charles, Marion, Mrs. Ben Hansen and Mrs. Nick Cook, Oxford Mills, and Mrs. Jerome Mitchel, Monmouth and five grandsons.
