CENTER JUNCTION--Funeral service for Mrs. Wilhelmina Sophia Rickels, 53, who died in the University hospital at Iowa City, Friday, June 27, was held in the Presbyterian church in Center Junction Sunday afternoon. Rev. F. G. Tyrrell conducted the service. Burial was made in the Scotch Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Rickels was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lang and was born in Richland township Jan. 14, 1888. She grew to womanhood in the Scotch Grove and Center Junction communities where she spent all her life.

On Feb. 23, 1910, she was united in marriage to William F. Rickels who preceded her in death nearly six years ago. For the past eight years the home has been made on a farm east of Center Junction.

She is survived by her five children, Louise, Willard, Lincoln and Faye at home, and Charlotte Conley, Scotch Grove. She also leaves her father, three brothers, Herman, Fred and Long Lang jr., all Scotch Grove, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Lightfoot, Onslow.

Mrs. Rickels was a member of the Presbyterian church.
