Funeral service was conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Loder funeral home, Anamosa, for Harry R. Soule, 54, who died at the LeRoy hospital, Maquoketa, on Tuesday morning after a few days' illness.

Rev. H. E. Dalrymple officiated at the service and burial was in Riverside cemetery. Mr. Soule was preceded in death by his parents and there are no survivors. Mr. Soule was born in New Woodstock, N.J., July 30, 1887.

Mr. Soule was a former resident of Anamosa and Monticello. At one time he operated a plumbing shop in Monticello. Four years ago he left Anamosa after working for three years as a plumber in the Handel Plumbing shop.
