OXFORD JUNCTION--Last rites for Miss Katherine Altman, 69, Monticello, were held Monday at the Catholic church there and burial was in the Monticello cemetery.

Miss Altman died following a heart attack in Oxford Junction Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peckosh. Miss Altman had often made extended visits here with her sister and had come here several weeks before because of ill health, but her death came as a shock because her condition was not believed serious.

Miss Altman had always lived in Monticello and at the time of her death was keeping house with her brother, Theodore. She is survived by two other brothers, William, Omaha and Peter, Chicago, and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Peckosh, Oxford Junction. Two sisters, Mary and Anna, and a brother, Frank, preceded her in death.
