Mrs. Hazel Houston, 81, mother of Mrs. Carl DeWoody, Olin, died Sunday following a brief illness. Funeral services for Mrs. Houston were held Wednesday afternoon in Buck Creek where she lived. Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. DeWoody (Bea) is a bookkeeper at the Union Trust and Savings Bank in Olin. Her husband teaches at the Olin Schools.
