Edward Holub, 97, passed away Wednesday, July 4, at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa, IA.

Edward was born at Canton, IA, on March 3, 1882 to John and Elizabeth Newton Holub.

On February 15, 1906 at Baldwin, Edward married Elizabeth Wyrick. The couple farmed in the Monmouth and Wyoming area for many years, and then retiring to Wyoming for 25 years. The last seven years Edward has been at the Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa.

He is survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elizabeth in 1974, two brothers and three sisters.

Services were held Friday, July 6, at the Hayden Funeral Home in Wyoming by Student Pastor Dan Johnson, burial was in the Wyoming Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joe Kouba, Otta Blume, Louis Kouba and Clair Bramer.
