OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral services for Roy White, 74, were held Tuesday, May 9, at the Methodist church, Oxford Junction, at 2 p.m. Rev. F. E. Sommerville, Wyoming, was in charge of the service.

Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen was soloist. Mrs. Louis Vacek was organist.

Pallbearers were Delmer Mershon, Glenn Bright, Henry Hunwardsen, Earl Huston, Ford Cram and Ed Zak. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mr. White died early Sunday morning at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. He was born at Delhi, March 3, 1887, son of John and Mahala Tubbs White.

Oct. 24, 1906, he was united in marriage to Mavina Andrews, Delhi, at Manchester. For 47 years he was employed with the Milwaukee Railroad Co., retiring in 1952. Couple lived most of that time in this area.

Survivors include Mrs. White; two sons, LaVern, Burley, Idaho; and Wesley, Northridge, Colo.

Four daughters, Mrs. Forest (Opal) McClure, Oxford Junction; Mrs. Herman (Elsie) Jacobson, Rolling Prairie, Ind.; Mrs. Howard (Irma) Livermore, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Glenn (Jacquelyn) Marshal, Marion; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
