OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 9, at 9:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart church, Oxford Junction, for Miss Gertrude Mulvihill, 57, who died early Saturday morning, May 6, at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids.

Rev. Joseph Kissling officiated at the Requiem High mass with the church choir singing and Mrs. Tillie Coon, organist.

Pallbearers were T. G. Murray, Otto Benischek, John Kostichek, Raymond Mulvihill, James Murray and Arnold Bisinger. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Miss Mulvihill was born at Oxford Junction Dec. 6, 1903, daughter of Mrs. Emma Mulvihill and the late Maurice Mulvihill. She had lived her early life here and attended Coe college. The last 19 years she had lived in Los Angeles, Calif., where she was engaged in clerical work. She had returned to Oxford Junction three weeks ago because of her health.

Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Emma Mulvihill; three brothers, John E. Mulvihill, Don and Jerry, all of Oxford Junction; and one sister, Mrs. Eunice Holtz, Edgweood.

Her father and one brother, Burnell, preceded her in death.
