Hilda V. Untiedt, 81, Wyoming, died on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 15, at the Crestridge Nursing Center, Maquoketa, after an extended illness.

Services were held at the Runge Mortuary at Davenport, on Monday, Feb. 19 with burial at the Allen's Grove Cemetery near Dixon, IA. Visitation was held on Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m.

Memorials were made to the Iowa Diabetes Foundation.

Untiedt spent most of her life farming in the Donahue area with her husband. In March 1956 she retired moving to Wyoming.

Hilda Runge Untiedt was born near Luzerne, moving to Davenport in her early childhood, and later to the Donahue area. She married Henry L. Untiedt on Feb. 21, 1917. He preceded her in death in February 1968.

Survivors include one daughter, Celesta R. Untiedt, Wyoming; one son, Roger H. Untiedt, Wyoming; three granddaughters, Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) Werner, Blue Grass, Mrs. Blake (Joyce) Ford, Onslow, and Mrs. Lorenz (Wanda) Brodersen, Jr., Wyoming. She is also survived by two great-grandsons and one brother, Albert L. Runge, Davenport.

Her husband and one infant son, Ralph, preceded her in death.
