Frank Hart, 75, Anamosa, died early Sunday morning, Feb. 12, at Mercy hospital, Anamosa.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m., at the Methodist church. Rev. J. Ellis Webb officiated at the service. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. McNamara Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers included Dr. R. L. Hyde, Merle Postel, Robert Postel, Rollo Lindley, George Preston, jr., and Bernard Patnode.

James Franklin Hart was born April 11, 1885, son of Benjamin Franklin Hart and Margaret Postel Hart, Buffalo township, Linn county. He attended school in Linn county. He spent his entire life in Linn and Jones counties.

He operated a garage in Anamosa for many years. Failing health forced him to quit work the last year. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Knights of Pythias lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Nina Joslin Hart; four nephews; one niece and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
