Funeral services were held for Henry Lasack, 87, of Oxford Junction, on Tuesday, November 21 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was at Mayflower Cemetery. The Rev. R. J. Sigwarth was the officiating clergyman. Hayden's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements where rosary was said Monday evening.

Pallbearers were Wesley Lawrence, Robert Lawrence, Lucian Lawrence, Carl Lawrence, Stanley Lasack and Joseph Lasack.

Mr. Lasack died at his home on Sunday morning, November 19, 1978.

He was born July 9, 1891 at Oxford Junction, the son of Matthew and Mary Vacek Lasack. On November 26, 1918, he married Christina Landa at Little Turkey. They lived all their married life in the Oxford Junction area. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors are his wife, Oxford Junction; two sons, Charles, Lost Nation and Emile, Wyoming; three daughters, Mrs. William (Lulu) Horstmann, Sr., Wheatland; Mrs. Kerrin (Blanche) Keegan, Maquoketa and Mrs. Dorothy Welsh, DeWitt; 11 grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
