January 6, 1961 - The Anamosa Eureka

Mrs. William Ellison, 29, Anamosa, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, Dec. 31, at her home at 202 N. Huber.

Body was removed from the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa, to Clayton, Ga., Sunday, Jan. 1. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Clayton.

She was born March 5, 1931, daughter of Bailus Stansel and Mary Smith Stansel, Clayton, Ga. She was married to William L. Ellison. Coup0le lived in Woodward before moving to Anamosa a year and a half ago. Mr. Ellison is employed as a guard at the Iowa State reformatory, Anamosa.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Luther Douglas; two daughters, Loretta Jean and Deloris Ann; her mother, Mrs. Mary Stansel, Wiley, Ga.

Others include two brothers, Gable Stansel, Alpharetta, Ga.; and Otis Stansel, College Park, Ga.; two sisters, Miss Louise Stansel, Wiley, Ga.; and Mrs. Mary Ann Campbell, Woodward, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her father.
