Mrs. Grace Bell Axline, 74, Anamosa, died Saturday, July 2.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 5, at 2 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. Walter D. Wigger officiated. Burial was in Green cemetery.

Pallbearers included Dacie Binley, Kenneth Shoop, Arthur Baker, Harry DeMean, Paul Eilers and Edward Eilers.

She was born July 13, 1885, daughter of Frank and Lucy Fox Brutzman. She was married to Joseph Axline, Maquoketa, Feb. 6, 1902. She had lived in the Anamosa area for the last 46 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy, Mrs. Marvin Dirks, and Sadie, Mrs. Guy Wolfe, Anamosa; three sons, Joe Axline, Springville; Donald Axline, Marion; and Louie Axline, Anamosa.

Other survivors include two brothers and two sisters, 29 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
