OXFORD JUNCTION--Mrs. Jennie Belle Latare, 58, Oxford Junction, died Monday evening, May 30, at the Brandt Nursing home, Wyoming, where she had been for the last 11 months, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 2, at 1:30 p.m. in the English Lutheran church, Oxford Junction. Rev. Richard Engstrom, of the St. Mark's Lutheran church, Cedar Rapids, officiated.

Pallbearers were La Vern Rohling, Marvin Rohling, Harry Rohling, Edward Mohl, Henry Busch and Francis Gardner, all of Lost Nation.

Hymns were sung by Mrs. Otto Koranda and Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen, with Mrs. Vernon Steffens accompanying at the organ.

She was born Jennie Busch, in Clinton county near Lost Nation, March 11, 1902, daughter of John and Gertrude Gardner Busch. She was united in marriage to Ernest Latare, Oxford Junction, June 4, 1930, at the Little Brown church, Nashua. They lived in Oxford Junction after their marriage. Mr. Latare died Dec. 19, 1949.

Survivors include one son, Allen, and three daughters, Beverly, Gayle and Aria, all of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Mrs. La Vanche Young, Lost Nation, and three brothers, Ivan, Marlin and Lawrence Busch, Lost Nation.

Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, a small daughter and two brothers.
