Oxford Junction, Iowa, March 8--Mrs. William Quirk died today at her home near Oxford Junction, Ia., after an illness of several years' duration. Her maiden name was Nellie Scanlan and she was born near Lost Nation about forty-six years ago.

There is left to mourn, her husband, three children and four brothers, Edmund, John and Michael Scanlan, of Lost Nation, and Dr. M. Scanlan of DeWitt.

The funeral will probably be held Wednesday morning with interment in the Catholic cemetery at Toronto.

Lost Nation, Ia., March 10--Friends of Mrs. William Quirk were grieved to learn of her death at Oxford Junction, Monday. She has been failing for some time and death claimed her at this time at the age of 46 years. Besides her husband and three children at Oxford left to mourn her loss, she leaves four brothers, Edmund, John and Michael of this place and Dr. M. Scanlan of DeWitt. Miss Gertrude Scanlan's mother was also a sister. The sympathy of the community is with them all in their bereavement.
