Fred Bodenhofer, 84, Gooding, Idaho, former resident of the Anamosa area, died recently in Idaho.

He was born and grew to manhood in Anamosa. He was married to Alma O'Deen of Anamosa. After farming in the Anamosa area a few years family moved to Gooding, Idaho, where he had lived ever since.

He had a daughter and four sons, two of whom preceded him in death. His wife died a number of years ago.

Survivors, beside his children, include a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a brother of the late George Bodenhofer and the late John Bodenhofer, Anamosa.
