Oxford Junction, Ia., Oct. 16- The funeral of Mrs. John Burda, Sr., was held from the home of Fifth avenue. Rev. Molgenmuth conducted the services and Mr. Rowbinek, of the Z. C. B. lodge, spoke a few words of comfort. The deceased was 59 years of age and her earlier years were passed on the farm east of town. About two years ago they purchased a home in town and she and her family lived there happily until Sunday, when she suffered a stroke of paralysis from which she never recovered, passing away on Thursday evening. She leaves her husband and four children, John Burda, Jr., Anna, Mary, and Lizzie; one sister, Mrs. John Stritz, and four brothers, Mike, Joe, Frank and Bizek, and her mother, Mrs. Bizek, to mourn her loss.
