Frank Ray, 68, Anamosa, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the Nursing home, Onslow, where he had been a patient for sometime.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, at 1:30 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home. Rev. J. Ellis Webb will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.

Military services will be conducted by the Arthur McCullough American Legion Post.

He was born July 24, 1891, son of James C. and Frances E. Hovey Ray, in Jones county. He worked on several farms in the area until illness forced him to become bedfast.

Survivors include four brothers, Millard Ray, Cedar Rapids; Vernon Ray, Anamosa; William Ray, Anamosa; and Robert Ray, Monticello.

Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Ella Northcutt, San Antonio, Tex.; Mrs. Jack Schwartz, Germantown, Md.; Mrs. Stanley Zimmerman and Mrs. Howard Dragoo, Anamosa.
