Anamosa, Iowa, Oct. 22 -- Cecil Shanklin died Thursday morning as the result of the fall he received Monday from the window of the Woodman hall. At first his injuries were thought to be slight, but it soon developed that he had received internal injuries that could not be overcome. He was only sixteen and a popular, likable lad. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. U. J. Shanklin who are overwhelmed by their sudden and sorrowful loss.
