MORLEY -- Lily Jane Tallman, Morley, died Monday, Dec. 28, at the University hospital, Iowa City.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 31, at 1:30 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral home, Olin. Burial was in Greene Center cemetery.

Pallbearers were nephews, Virgil Tallman, Lester Tallman, Glenn Siver, Ivan Duncan, Verne Shaffer and Everett Sproston.

Miss Linda Sharon was pianist and Mrs. Floyd Siver was vocalist.

Miss Tallman was born Nov. 27, 1901, daughter of Wilbur E. and Delilah Merritt Tallman in Jones county, near Morley. She lived her entire life in the community where she was born.

She was a member of the Morley Methodist church and taught the primary class in Sunday school until ill health prevented her doing so.

Survivors include three brothers, Ellsworth Tallman, Marion Tallman and John Tallman, Anamosa.

Other survivors include four sisters, Laura, Mrs. Avert Cook and Mary Tallman, Anamosa; Fern, Mrs. Otis Siver and Mrs. Odessa Pieper, Mechanicsville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
