Anamosa, Ia., Aug. 13--The funeral services for Mrs. Abiah Lashaway were held at the Baptist church on Thursday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. B. O. Phillpotts, assisted by Rev. E. A. Schlaman. Mrs. Lashaway's maiden name was Wilcox and she was born in New York state in 1828 and was married to Joseph Lashaway in 1847. The came to Iowa in 1866. For over thirty years the home was in Anamosa, where Mr. Lashaway died in 1894. For the last few months Mrs. Lashaway has made her home in Cedar Rapids with Mrs. C. B.Hungerford, where she died on Tuesday.
