William White Bronson, 71, died Tuesday, January 25th, at Wyoming. Masonic services will be held at the Hayden Funeral Home Friday, January 28th, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Charles Johnson will officiate. Military services and burial will be conducted at the Wyoming Cemetery.

Mr. Bronson was born at Wyoming on November 11, 1905, the son of William and Katherine Franks Bronson. He graduated from the Anamosa High School.

On October 4, 1941, he married Jean Maxwell in Cedar Rapids. They lived in Wyoming for 28 years, operating a real estate and insurance business. In 1970, they moved to Cedar Rapids. His wife died there on September 7, 1976.

Bill was a member of the Wyoming American Legion Post #259, 40 & 8 Local #623 of Anamosa, Keystone Masonic Lodge #206 of Wyoming, El Kahir Tenysle Shrine and Scottish Rite 32nd Freemasonry, both of Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Kay of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Steven (Margaret) Gray of Iowa City; his mother, Katherine of Cedar Rapids; and 1 aunt, Henrietta Franks of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his father, wife and 1 brother.
