Funeral services were held for Robert H. Kleineck, 82, of Oxford Jct. on Friday, Dec. 31 at Hayden's Funeral Home. The Rev. R. J. Sigwarth officiated at the services. Burial was at Mayflower Cemetery, where graveside services were conducted by the American Legion, Wapsi Post No. 473.

Mr. Kleineck died Wednesday at John McDonald Hospital, Monticello.

He was born Feb. 15, 1894 at Mt. Vernon, the son of John and Tillie Ruzicka Kleineck.

During WWI, he served in France and Germany.

On Nov. 26, 1920 he married Bess Straka. She died in 1940. He married Mary Peckosh on June 30, 1942. He farmed until 1941, then was a railroad fireman. He lived most of his life in the Oxford Jct. area.

Surviving are his wife; 2 sons, Leonard and Richard, Cedar Rapids; 3 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Velma) Armstrong, Marion, Mrs. David (Karen) White and Mrs. Gary (Marilyn) Haughenburg, Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren and 1 sister, Mrs. Josie Barrett, Ft. Morgan, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 grandson and 3 brothers.
