Agnes Post Swordes, 89, died Saturday, October 23, 1976, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Methodist Church, with the Rev. Loren Simpson officiating. Burial was in the Wyoming Cemetery.

She was born August 11, 1887 in Ellsworth, Minnesota, the daughter of Daniel and Maria Duckering Post. Judson T. Swordes married Miss Post September 17, 1910 in Cedar Rapids.

She lived her adult life in Wyoming and was a member of the Wyoming Methodist Church.

Mrs. Swordes was preceded in death by her husband, one son, two sisters and three stepchildren.

Pallbearers were Melvin Petersen, Delbert Mayberry, Stanley Eichhorn, Lumir Holub, At Ahrendsen and James Lindsey.
