Funeral services were held for Mrs. Tony Bruckner, 79, of Oxford Junction on Thursday, August 12th, at Hayden's Funeral Home. Burial was at the Mayflower Cemetery.

Mrs. Bruckner died Tuesday morning at the Jackson County Public Hospital in Maquoketa.

She was born August 3, 1897 in Oxford Township. She was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Yarolem Balichek.

On October 31, 1920, she was married to Joe Bruckner. He died 34 years ago. She was a restaurant cook until retiring five years ago. She lived all of her life in Oxford Junction.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Emery (Helen) Meade, two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Bess Kostichek, all of Oxford Junction. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers.
