Maquoketa, Iowa, March 21--Mrs. Chas. Kaler received a telephone message early Monday morning announcing the death of her mother, Mrs. Hiram Jackson of near Oxford Junction. Mrs. Jackson had been an invalid for years and was about 74 years old. Funeral will be held Wednesday.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her aged husband two daughters, Mrs. Chas. Kaler of this city, and Mrs. Maud Lang, who lives on the home farm. Mrs. Kaler left Monday morning for Oxford and Mr. Kaler went this morning.
