Donald F. Heinrich of rural Cascade, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, February 17.

He was born September 7, 1922 in Andrew, the son of Adolph and Alta Klotz Heinrich. He married Maxine Miller on November 16, 1941, in Maquoketa.

Mr. Heinrich was a veteran of WWI. He served as a member of the Midland School Board for 3 1/2 years. He was a member of the Wyoming American Legion. He farmed in the Cascade area for many years.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Ronald of Bellevue, Galen & Duane, at home, 2 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Lavern (Dorothy) Nissen of DeWitt, and Vera Heinrich of Maquoketa, and three brothers, Ralph of Zwingle, Raymond of Waverly, and Marcel of Maquoketa.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and an infant daughter.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 21 at the Carson Funeral Home in Maquoketa. Rev. James Ellison of Bellevue Presbyterian church officiated.

Burial was in the Buckhorn cemetery.
