Olin, Iowa, March 19--Martha Caroline Truax was born in Warren county, Indiana, Dec. 21, 1840 and departed this life March 18, 1917, at her home in Olin after an illness of seven weeks. She came to this county with her parents in 1856 and in 1857 was married to Barney Sealls of the Pleasant Valley neighborhood. Her husband died about 4 years ago, leaving her alone. Nearly two months ago she received a fall from which she had not recovered when a severe cold set in her death resulting. Thus another good neighbor, kind friend and sister, has been relieved from suffering and entered into rest. She leaves three aged sisters and one brother of her immediate family. The funeral was held from the Christian church of which she was a member, conducted by the Rev. Livingstone of Martelle Thursday at 2 o'clock. Interment in the family lot in the city cemetery.
