Anamosa, Iowa, Jan. 8--Miss Charlotte Starkweather died at the hospital at Independence and the body was brought to Anamosa Thursday for burial at Fairview. Miss Starkweather was one of the pioneer settlers of this county and one of its first teachers. A voluntary contribution from those who knew her in the better days gave her a better burial then is usually possible for the county wards.
