Olin, Ia., Oct. 12--Miss Pearl Rue, after a long and painful illness, closed her eyes to earthly vision last Tuesday morning at her home in the east part of town. Although this had been expected for a number of weeks, every one was filled with sorrow that so young a life must go out into eternity, that a work was so early finished, and that her earthly career was of so short a span, but the great Father's plans are not our plans. His will may not always be our will, and thus we do not understand clearly. The funeral was held from the U.B. church Thursday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by her pastor, Rev. C. C. Hobson, and the remains were placed in the City cemetery. Sympathy from hosts of friends is extended to the family.
