Anamosa, Ia. Sept. 21--A very sad death was that of Mrs. Thomas McGovern, who resides some miles from Anamosa in the direction of Prairieburg. Mrs. McGovern was the sister of Mrs. Sampica, who was so fatally burned the week before. From some failure in telephone connection a doctor could not be obtained and before the trip could be made by auto she was beyond the reach of help. She is survived by her husband and a very large family of children. The funeral services were held in the Catholic church in Stone City, with burial in Holy Cross cemetery at Anamosa.
