Anamosa, Ia. Sept. 21--The remains of John Dixon were brought to Anamosa for burial from Cresco, where he had been staying with his son. The funeral services wee held in St. Patrick's church Monday. Many will remember Mr. Dixon, who was a familiar figure at the Northwestern depot for many years and in whose employ he spent over forty years. He was always obliging and accommodating and won the liking of all who came in contact with him. He retired on a pension and soon after his health began to fail and he gradually declined until the end came. Mr. Dixon was twice married and is survived by his second wife and three sons and a daughter by his first marriage.
