Anamosa, Iowa, July 27--The funeral services for Mrs. John Dumont, Jr., were held at her home Monday morning. Her death came on Saturday after many weeks of suffering from tuberculosis. Mrs. Dumont was born in Missouri and was about thirty years of age. Rev. Evans conducted the services and later accompanied the funeral part to Dubuque, where burial was made in the family grounds. Mrs. Dumont was a member of the O.E.S. and a number of that order also went with the relatives to pay the last respect to their departed sister. The trip was made by auto, train service not being convenient.
