Funeral services for Mrs. Ina Mae Jansen were held on Saturday July 6th at 2:30 p.m. at the Onslow Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kenneth Hamann officiating.

Mrs. Jansen, age 82, passed away on Thursday, July 4th, at the John McDonald Hospital in Monticello.

Born near Onslow, Ia., she was the daughter of John and Emma Hamilton Young. She taught in a rural school north of Onslow for several years and on August 18, 1915 she married John Jansen at Onslow. They farmed near Onslow all their lifes returning to Onslow in 1944.

Mrs. Jansen was a member of the Onslow Presbyterian Church, the Center Junction Garden Club, the "500" Club, Bridge Club, and a former member of the Presbyterian Women's Guild.

Ina is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Forrest (Mary Clare) Briggs of San Bernadino, Calif., two sons, Donald and Daryl of Onslow, one sister, Mrs. Velma Nielsen of Lenwood, Calif., five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one husband and one sister.

Interment was at the Wyoming Cemetery and pallbearers were Herbert Kinion, Thomas Gutzeit, Lewis Norris, Fred Dauber, Merle Lathrop, and Paul Deitiker.
