Mary Isabelle Serbousek, 88, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, at the Senior Home, Monticello. The daughter of Robert and Martha Reid Carson, she was born August 13, 1885 near Onslow. On Nov. 27, 1912 she was married to Andrew Serbousek at Center Junction. Up until the last five years when she became a resident of the Senior Home, Mary lived her entire life in and around Center Junction.

Survivors include one son, Robert, of Anamosa; two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Marie) Drebellis, of Anamosa and Mrs. John (Audrey) McAleer of Mason City; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, a stepbrother, and a stepsister.

Services were held Monday at Center Junction Presbyterian Church. Henry DeGraaff officiated. Interment was at North Madison Pioneer Cemetery near Center Junction.

Pallbearers were Leonard Serbousek, Noel Ostrander, Merle Husmann, Marvin Blohm, Donald Oster, and Dillion Mead.
