Anamosa, Ia. Feb. 23--The announcement has been received of the death of Israel Luce at Fayette, Iowa. Mr. Luce was one of the early settlers in this locality residing on a farm for many years, later removing to this town and going from here to Fayette. He lost his wife some years ago, but received the loving and tender care of a daughter all through his declining years. Mr. Luce has four sons who are prominent in the Methodist ministry, the Rev. Frank Luce is the one best known in this locality.
