Mrs. Wilda Loretta Ellis Glenn, 88, died Oct. 2, at a Mt. Vernon rest home after a long illness.

Prayer service was held at the Hayden Funeral home, Olin, Oct 4, at 10:30 a.m. Funeral service was held at the home at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert G. Jones officiating. Interment was in the Olin cemetery.

Pallbearers included Willard Hoyman, Melvin Ramsey, Galen Alexander, Frank Phillips, Cecil Fall and Dillon Story.

Mrs. Robert T. Jones was organist and Vicki Glenn, soloist.

She was born Jan. 2, 1880, daughter of William and Mary Ellis, at Olin. She was married to Edgar H. Glenn on March 30, 1898. She spent her entire life in the Olin community and attended school there. She was a member of the Olin United Methodist church, a 50-year member of the Eastern Star, a member of the Past Matrons circle and a charter member of Sorosis club.

Survivors include a son, Victor Glenn, Olin, 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Edgar Everett, who died in August; 2 brothers, Howard and Homer; 2 sisters, Norma and Marjorie, a half brother, a half sister and her parent.
