Anthony Henak was born August 18, 1891, son of James and Anna Henak, near Oxford Junction. He was baptized in the Catholic Church.

Anthony was 67 years 10 months and 23 days old at the time of his passing on Saturday, July 11th, 1959 on his farm southwest of Oxford Junction.

Neighbors going home from town, shortly before midnight, heard a tractor running in the yard and upon investigation found his body lying beside the tractor. The cause of death which was thought to have occurred at about noon on Saturday has been determined as due to a heart attack.

Mr. Henak was a bachelor and at the time of his death lived alone on the farm. He served in World War I, overseas, and was injured and hospitalized in England.

Survivors include one brother, Frank C. Henak, Oxford Junction; and one sister, Mrs. George Dusanek, Wyoming.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 14th, 1959 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hayden Funeral Home in Oxford Junction. Monsignor Rt. Rev. Joseph Gregor officiated. The music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kolarik with Mrs. Tillie Coon at the organ.

Burial was made in the Mayflower cemetery.

Anthony was a frequent visitor in the town of Clarence.
