Olin - Funeral services for William F. Weseman, 67, were held at St. John's American Lutheran church, Olin Feb. 23 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Harold Gillaspie, Tipton officiating.

Mrs. Leonard Hartwig was soloist and Mrs. Kenneth Guhl was organist. Burial was in St. John's cemetery, Clarence. The Hayden Funeral home in Olin was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Oscar Dethman, Martin Baute, Howard Freeman, Max Levsen, Leo Levsen and Jay Slater. Mrs. Leo Levsen and Mrs. Howard Freeman were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Weseman passed away at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, Feb. 20.

He was born Oct. 27, 1898, in Jones county. The son of William and Sophia Weseman, he spent his entire life on the farm where he was born. He farmed in partnership with his brother, August.

Survivors are his brother, August; a sister, Mrs. Arnold H. Kleppe, Clarence, and a niece, Mrs. Douglas Schoff, Clarence.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
