Rites Held For Mrs. Van Ostrand

Oxford Junction - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Van Ostrand, 85, who died Dec. 14 at a nursing home in Wyoming after a long illness, were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist church in Oxford Junction, with Rev. Robert Christensen officiating. Burial was in the Massillon cemetery.

Mrs. Van Ostrand was born Oct. 31, 1882 in Jones county, the daughter of Fred and Sophia Reuss. She was married to William Van Ostrand at Harvard, Ill. in 1904. She lived most of her life in the Oxford Junction area.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vern (Catherine) Fritcher, Oxford Junction, and 1 great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, a brother and a grandson.
