Anna Margaretha Arnold Allamand
January 4, 1889–December 25, 1973

Anna Margaretha Allamand, 84, died Tuesday, December 25, 1973 at the John McDonald Hospital, Monticello, Iowa after a short illness.

Anna Margaretha Arnold was born in Monticello, Iowa on January 4, 1889, the daughter of George and Trinka Marie Schoon Arnold.

Anna Arnold and Lorenz Karl Allamand were married in Monticello, Iowa on October 4, 1905. The couple farmed in Richland township until moving to Monticello, Iowa in 1924.

Mrs. Allamand was a member of the Congregational Church.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Alma Black, Monticello, Iowa, and a brother, Chris Arnold, Monticello, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday morning, December 28, 1973 at the Congregational Church at 10:30 o'clock and interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello, Iowa. Rev. Charles H. Eversman officiated at the service.

Casket bearers were: Herman Egger, John Smith, I. I. Rhatigan, Ed Meier, Robert Savange, George Burrichter.
