The Wilbur D. Cannon historic home in Iowa City was featured in a story in the Iowa Press Citizen Aug 1 - 4, 2004. I read it online on those dates. Now I cannot access it online. Does anyone know how to access older Press Citizen articles at their web site? I am researching Wilbur's parents: William D. Cannon (b. MA, d. 1856 in Solon, Johnson County, IA) and his wife Julia Pratt. William's probate implies Julia was his second wife and that she remarried to a man named Whipple.
